Thoughts on opening day...

There's a certain magic to Opening Day. It's the eternal spring of hope and on that day more than ever hope springs eternal. There's a mystery in what lies beyond. A drama that can build or dwindle as April moves toward May, and June, and beyond the summer. But on that day - we each hold hope of a better future. It's a new beginning, and regardless of what transpires in the next few months, there's something child-like in our Opening Day optimism. We believe again. We're willing to suspend reality. Opening Day isn't for pragmatists. It's for dreamers.
